TAILS from St. Ann's

Kentucky Greetings, WoodyWatchers! We hope everyone is enjoying the day. We are chilly dogs today. It is rainy and gloomy and cool. Dad just built a fire in the fireplace so hopefully we will go from chilly dogs to hot dogs soon!

This past Tuesday our family spent the day at St. Ann's School in Howardstown, KY. It was one of the neatest places we had ever been. St. Ann's school is grades 1-8 and has 26 students, 3 rooms, and 3 teachers. When there are only 26 students, 3 rooms, and 3 teachers, there aren't many secrets. We found out who was the class clown, who was the most serious, who was the most athletic, and the list goes on and on. We spent a great deal of time learning from each other but we also spent lots of time laughing. Those students are funny! Chloe and I were howling with laughter!

Even though the student were funny, they were extrememly respectful. Mom and Dad heard "Yes Ma'am" and "Yes Sir" all day. When we walked in their classrooms, they all stood up to show respect. We are still talking about how impressive that was! WOW!

Guess what we did for lunch? The entire school pulled out their umbrellas and we walked to the country store to have our lunch. They had pizza, hamburgers, sandwiches, and yes, dog food! It was dee-lish!

St. Ann's made us feel right at home. In fact, they invited us back to their Thanksgiving meal and also for Creek Day in May. Both of those sound right up our alley!

A great big thanks to all the staff and students for giving us a day we will never forget! ARFF!

I better scoot. Since I have been typing, the cabin has warmed up. I have to get a drink of water before I become a burnt hot dog!

Have a great day! Take a walk in the rain, stop at a country store for lunch every now and then, and Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!
