TAILS from Evansville, IN

Kentucky Greetings, WoodyWatchers! Hope this finds each of you having a great Monday! It was beautiful here at our doghouse in Shepherdsville today. The sun was shining, the leaves were so colorful, and it was warm enough to play outside. My little brother Wally thought it would be fun to wade in the shallow part of the lake. He didn't think it was fun when he had to get a bath later! We have a school visit tomorrow in Erlanger, KY. Mom didn't want Wally to smell like he did when he came out of the lake. He smelled like a combination of a wet dog and a fish. Pee-uuu!

Anyway, this past Saturday night we spent the evening in Evansville, Indiana. We spoke at the Foster Parent Recognition Banquet. In case you don't know what a foster parent is, they provide a safe and loving home for kids who can't live with their birth parents or haven't yet been adopted. These parents are the most unselfish people in the world. Chloe and I were so happy we could spend an evening with them! Hip Hip Hooray for all the foster parents! We posted a few pics.

I better go. My Scooby Doo clock is set for 4:30 in the morning! That is early! The Woody Bus will be leaving in the morning. Destination: Arnett Elementary in Erlanger. I better go to bed right now - or as soon as I have a bedtime snack and brush my teeth!

Have a great night. Enjoy the leaves, give your parents a kiss (whether they are your biological parents, your adopted parents, or your foster parents), and Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!
