Keeping the Highway Hot
Good Friday Morning! Chloe and I are back at our house this morning after several days on the road. As usual, it was a terrific week! On Wednesday, we were at Huntertown in Versailles. It was a day of hustle and bustle. We met tons of nice people who gave Chloe and me lots of love and attention.
We left Versailles and headed to Paint Lick Elementary in Garrard County. As you know, we are no stranger to Garrard County. We saw so many of our Garrard County friends and certainly added lots of other friends to our list. We are now back home catching up on emails, phone calls, and cat naps! I will write more later. I just wanted to take the opportunity to bark now since I was sitting at the computer.
It is 8:30 and time for our morning walk! Dad is putting Chloe's collar on right now! Gotta run...
Have a great day! Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!

A Saturday in Lexington
Kentucky Greetings, WoodyWatchers! It is a gorgeous day in the Bluegrass. Mom, Dad, Chloe, and I just came back from a long walk. We love it when we can put our sweaters away for the season and just wear our own natural coats!
We were at one of our favorite bookstores today - Joseph Beth Booksellers in Lexington, KY. We always love going to JB and seeing all the nice people who work there like Mr. Craig, Ms. Rachel, and Ms. Brooke. We also love seeing our friends who come to the signing. In fact, when we arrived, Carly - the President of the Woody Fan Club - was waiting for us. She had gifts for all of us. Carly gave Chloe the most perfect sized tennis balls. She gave me the stuffed lion. I love the lion. In fact, the lion is sitting in my lap while I write in my diary! He isn't even growling! Carly also gave us a beautiful piece of artwork. Mom scanned it in the computer for me so I could share it with you! It looks just like us!!!
In addition to seeing Carly, we met so many other friends! That is always the best part of our job - the people!
I better say goodbye. Mom said she would take us on one more walk before we had to brush our teeth and go to bed. In fact, I see her getting out my leash. I better run!

Tails Waggin' at West Hopkins
Good Friday Evening, WoodyWatchers! It is very late! In fact, I can't remember the last time Chloe and I stayed up so late. We have a very good reason though - our Kentucky Wildcats are playing in the NCAA tournament. Mom and Dad said since we took a long nap - and since it was Friday night - we could stay up and watch the game! The CATS are hot tonight! I don't want to bark too soon, but I think we may come away with a W!
Yesterday was awesome! We spent the day at West Hopkins in Hopkins County. We were greeted with cool posters and lots of hugs! The nice cafeteria ladies even designed a special menu just for us. The Chloe Chicken Casserole and the Sweet Puppy Potatoes were DEE-lish! Our mouths are still watering! Speaking of food, Ms. Hoodenpyle's students made us some yummy dog treats. Mom thought they were tasty too, but that's another story!
We always love our days in the schools. As you know, Chloe and I love to learn new things and meet new people. Another highlight of the day was a surprise from Ms. Brown and her fourth graders. They had a stuffed animal wiener dog that looked just like me! In fact, I was sure it was my long lost cousin! (See the photo of the sweet student giving it to me.) My "cousin" has been by my side all day long. I even slept with him last night! In fact, he is helping Chloe, Mom, Dad, and me cheer the CATS to a victory!
Speaking of, I better go. The game is nearing the end and we are still ahead! We have already brushed our teeth and put on our jammies. Mom said as soon as the game is over we have to go to bed. I will write more soon!

TAILS from Kit Carson
Kentucky Greetings, WoodyWatchers! It is Wednesday morning and Chloe and I are still barking about the PAWS-atively perfect day we had yesterday. We spent the day and evening at Kit Carson Elementary in Richmond, KY. It was an exciting day, meeting lots of new faces and making brand new friends! The students were so respectful and friendly. Chloe and I felt like we had known them forever!
I posted a few photos for you. The first photo you see is of the principal, Ms. Jones, and me. She was the nicest principal. I didn't get in trouble at all yesterday! The second picture is of Ms. Kelley and Ms. Cole. They were the two teachers who planned our visit and helped us all day. Finally, a photo with the P.E. coach. Coach let us use his gym all day! Rumor has it he likes the Cardinals. As you well know, the Cards are the arch rivals of my WILDCATS! That is probably why I am looking at him funny in the picture! Oh well! If our day hadn't been so busy, I would have challenged Coach to a game of one-on-one!
As you can see from the photos taken outside, the day was gorgeous. While Chloe and I weren't in class, we spent a good deal of time romping through the grass! During our break, we went to Hall's on the River for dinner. Chloe and I love a good plate of catfish. While there, we ate outside and even took some pictures of the Kentucky River. We will put the photos on the Picture page soon!
I better go. Mom is finishing our last load of laundry before we pack our Scooby suitcases and head to Madisonville in a few hours. I will keep you posted!
In the meantime, enjoy the weather and Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!

TAILS from INDIANA
Happy Sunday, WoodyWatchers! Chloe and I hope you are having a great day! The weather is gorgeous today. The sun is shining, birds are chirping, fish are jumping, you get the picture!
We were so sleepy this morning. Chloe and I both had a hard time waking up. Mom said it was because we lost an hour of sleep since the time changed. Before we went to bed, I moved my Scooby Doo clock and watch up an hour. I didn't realize I would be so sleepy. After Sunday School, Chloe and I took a long nap! I had sweet dreams though. I was remembering our day at Austin Elementary!
This past Friday, Mom, Dad, Chloe, and I spent the day at Austin Elementary School in Austin, Indiana. Of course we love our home state, but it is always exciting to travel to other states, like Indiana. It felt like we were home. For one thing, Austin is only about 35 miles from Kentucky. They are practically in our backyard. The other reason it felt like home was because everyone was so very friendly! The teachers, students, and principal made us feel so special! It was a terrific day!
Here is a photo of Ms. Fox and her granddaughter Caroline. Ms. Fox was responsible for getting us to Austin. She was so sweet to us. She and Mom became good friends! I like how Chloe is kissing Mommy!
I better say goodbye for now. It is almost dinner time. I don't know what Mom is planning on serving, but whatever it is, I am starved! We will be in Richmond, Madisonville, and Bardstown this week, so stay tuned! I will write soon!
Have a great week! Enjoy the weather, catch up on your sleep, and Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!

Chloe and Crafted
Kentucky Greetings, WoodyWatchers! It is a beautiful day here in the Bluegrass. It almost feels like Spring! In fact, Mom took Chloe and me for a long walk this morning. It was fun to sniff the flowers. We even chased a few birds! It has been nice to be home for the past few days. This weekend was busy - even for a busy little hotdog like myself.
This weekend was one of our favorite events of the year. We spent four days in Louisville at Kentucky Crafted: The Market. We love Crafted. We get to see so many of our friends from years past, meet new faces, and hear lots of great stories. There was one minor problem this year. Chloe was sick! Right after we arrived to Crafted on the first day, Chloe started yelping. It was easy to see she didn't feel good. She has been having some pretty rough allergies. The scratching she was doing made her neck a bit sore. Dad rushed Chloe to the vet where the nice doctor gave Chloe some medicine to make her all better. Even though she probably could have made the show, Mom and Dad decided Chloe should stay at home and rest inside her kennel. A day of rest and Chloe was back to her normal self! She was sad about missing Crafted, but Mom reminded Chloe that she had not taken a sick day in years!
Since Mom and Dad worry about us, yesterday they took us both to the vet for a full check-up. Our vet, Dr. Albert, is the best vet in the world! She took our blood and even took pictures of our body (she called it an X-Ray)! She said we were both as "healthy as a horse!" I was not exactly sure what that meant, but Mom said it was a good thing! Dr. Albert gave us both a treat since Chloe and I didn't cry - not even when we were poked with a needle!
I better go! It is almost time for our afternoon walk. I will write again in a day or two! In the meantime, enjoy the weather, and Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!

TAILS of PRIDE
Kentucky Greetings, WoodyWatchers! It is Thursday morning and Chloe and I are staring out the window watching it rain Cats and Dogs! I am sure the ducks are loving this weather! Since we can't go outside to play, I thought I would take the opportunity to tell you about our exciting day at Pride!
On Tuesday, the four of us spent the day at Pride Elementary in Madisonville, KY. It was a terrific day and evening. As usual, we met so many great people - and even met a dog named Hershel. Hershel spends everyday at Pride helping the kids! What a lucky dog! Hershel looked like our brother, Rio, only smaller and much calmer!
So many of the students had been following our TAILS. We signed lots of scrapbooks and were able to hear the favorite chapters of the kids! It was a great day! We will post photos of all our February schools in the Picture Section of our site soon.
I better go. We have a very busy few days ahead with lots of exciting news! I will keep you posted. In the meantime, Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!
