Making our Way to Madisonville

Hey WoodyWatchers! It is Monday afternoon and Chloe and I are helping Mom and Dad pack for three days on the road. We will be going to Madisonville! We can't wait. We will be with the students of Jesse Stuart, West Hopkins, and will even spend some time at the Hopkins County Public Library! If that weren't exciting enough, we will see our illustrator, Mr. Asher!

I better go. Mom is asking Chloe and me if we have all our sweaters packed! Can you say CHILI DOG? It is freezing! Anyway, I better go pack my sweater and make sure I have plenty of Scooby Snacks for the trip.

I will definitely post some pictures later in the week, so stay tuned, stay warm, and Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!

The Belle of Louisville

Hey WoodyWatchers! Hope you are having a great Saturday! Chloe and I are taking the day to catch up on emails and cat naps! Speaking of catching up, we were off from school this week catching up on our work. Our new book, "Woody, The Kentucky Wiener: TAILS from the Bluegrass II" will be out soon. Chloe and I have been putting the finishing touches on it. In fact, yesterday Mom, Dad, Chloe and I spent the afternoon at the Belle of Louisville. If you remember from the newspaper articles, we took a ride on the Belle. Anyway, it was great to be back at that beautiful steamboat.

Ms. Sue, the lady who puts our cool presentations together, took some photos of us. This is a photo of Mom, Chloe and me with Ms. Kadie and First Mate Ru. As you can see, Chloe loves sitting in First Mate Ru's lap! Chloe even asked Dad last night if she could grow up to work on the Belle! Ms. Kadie and everyone at the Belle has been so helpful to us.

Yesterday, First Mate Ru took us all over the Belle. We went to the stop of the beautiful steamboat. It was so pretty standing at the top looking out over the Ohio River. We even went in the Pilothouse and were able to have our picture made at the pilot wheel. We will be sure to post some more photos soon!

Talking about photos, be sure to visit the photo page on our site. Mr. Nathan has added some new ones. They look great with the new background!

I better go. Dad went out to buy supper for us. He is just coming in. I can't wait to see what he has in his sack. It sure smells yummy!

Have a great day! Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!

Another Exciting Week!

Hey Friends! Hope you are having a great Friday! We also hope you are staying dry! It is raining CATS and DOGS here in Shepherdsville. Chloe and I have been staring out the window watching the rain hit the patio. I bet the ducks love all this water. Personally, it makes me want to take a nap! Yawn!

Mom, Dad, Chloe and I had a perfect week at two of the most amazing schools! We kicked off our 2007 Woody Tour in Henderson at South Heights Elementary! We were also with the Daniel Boone Pioneers in Richmond, KY. Both schools had respectful students, nice teachers, and super principals! I minded my manners and made it through the week without having any accidents! YIPPEEE!!!!

We will be putting some photos on the Photo page soon, so stay tuned!

I have to run for now. I think the rain has stopped for a second, so Chloe and I better go outside while we can! Have a great day!

Santa Claus, The Wildcats, and 2007

Happy 2007, WoodyWatchers! Mom, Dad, Chloe and I had a PAWS-atively perfect 2006. We were busy with school visits, book signings, newspaper writing, and lots of traveling! As always, the best part of the year was being with so many of our friends!

I can't believe I haven't written since December 16th. The month of December was a whirlwind of activity. In fact, I was looking at my Scooby Doo calendar and out of 31 days in December, we were on the road 21 of those days! December was spent in schools and bookstores, but it wasn't all work for the wiener dogs! We spent some days playing too. In fact, we spent the week of December 18th in our nation's capital. We loved seeing all the sights of Washington D.C. We can't wait to tell you all about it, but we aren't going to give it away now!

The four of us had an exciting Christmas, and yes, Santa was very good to us. I was afraid I would wake up to a lump of coal on Christmas morning, especially since I have been known to have a few accidents, eat my sister's food, and not pay attention to the rules, but Santa Claus didn't let me down! I am already looking forward to next Christmas!

We ended our year in Nashville, TN at the Music City Bowl. Our Kentucky Wildcats played Clemson in the Bowl game and guess what? We won! It was a blast! Chloe and I had never been to a bowl game before. We had also never seen so much BLUE in our life! We will post some photos in our PHOTO section soon. The first photo is of Mom and Dad. Chloe took this picture the night before the bowl game. The second photo is of Cousin Patrick. Patrick lives in Paducah. He made this sign for the game. He is a great artist!

I better say Arff for now! It is the very first day of the year and Chloe and I have lots to do. The first thing we are going to do is clean out our toy closet. It is a mess! After that, it will be lunch and nap time!

Have a great day! Remember to Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!
