A WIN for the WILDCATS!!!

Hi WoodyWatchers! Hope you had a great Sunday! Chloe and I certainly did! After Sunday School, Chloe and I sat in front of the television to watch our Kentucky Wildcats take on the Arkansas Razorbacks! Though it was scary for a while, we pulled out a WIN!!! It was exciting!

I wanted to show you this picture. This past Thursday, Mom, Dad, Chloe and I spent the day at Spencer County Elementary. This photo is of Chloe and two fourth grade teachers. You can tell by looking that they thought she was too cute!!!

We have had so many emails this week about our new story that is appearing across the papers of Kentucky. We love hearing from all of you!!!

I better go. That game wore me out. I may have to take a CAT nap before bed!!!

An early morning "Arff" to you!

Good Morning! It is Thursday morning and Mommy, Daddy, Chloe and I are getting ready to go to Spencer County Elementary for the day and evening. We have just finished our breakfast and have brushed our teeth! We didn't want to leave for the day without saying "Arff!"

Hope you have had a super week! We certainly have! Monday night was spent at West Point School. Here is a picture with Dr. Stephens and Mrs. Packer. It was so fun! Dr. Stephens, the superintendent, can also fly a plane! Isn't that cool??? I asked if she flew to school each day. Everyone just shook their head, so I guess not!

Tuesday found us at Watterson Elementary in Louisville! It was an exciting day too! We met so many new friends!

I better go. Dad said the Woody Bus is packed and ready. Have a great day!

Good Monday!!!

Hi WoodyWatchers! Hope you are having a wonderful Monday! Chloe and I finished a nice lunch of our favorite - chicken and dumplings. It was doglicious! YUMMY! We have a Family Reading Night tonight at West Point Elementary. We wanted to take a moment to "Blog" before we left!

We had an exciting week last week! We were at Linlee Elementary on Thursday. It was fun to meet so many! As always, the students are still asking questions regarding "Tails..." One student wanted to know if people in Pikeville were STILL drinking Pepsi! I am sure they are!

Speaking of "Tails...", this is a photo of two of our good friends. Their mommy was the one who made the suggestion that Chloe and I write the "Tails..." articles for the newspapers. We were sure to give them lots of love and hugs for that!

Our brand new serial story - the BIG DOG MYSTERY - starts this week, so check your local paper!

I better go. Dad is already loading the Woody Bus! I will write again in a few days!

A snow day!

Hey Woody Friends! Hope you are having a great day! Today we were supposed to be at St. Charles Middle School in Marion County, but it snowed last night! Today was the first day in three years that our school was cancelled due to snow! We will see our friends at St. Charles soon! Chloe and I took the opportunity to take a long morning nap! (Chloe woke up first and took a picture of me!)

After our long nap, we decided to brave the snow. We thought we would make a snowDOG, you know, like a snowman, but it was too cold! We immediately ran back in the house! Mommy and Daddy already had the warm milk waiting for us!

I received the neatest package in the mail today! Our friend Coleman from Grant County painted a portrait of me! I couldn't believe it! It looked exactly like me!!! It was so pretty that Mommy took our family picture off the mantle and replaced it with the paiting Coleman did! He is so talented! Chloe and I bet he will be illustrating a book one day!

Tomorrow we will be at Linlee Elementary in Lexington. We are excited. I will post some pictures in a day or two!

Stay warm! Work and Dream like a BIG DOG!

A day at Eastern Elementary

Hi Woody Fans! Hope you are having a great day! Our friends at Eastern Elementary in Henry County sent us this photo from last week. We had such a wonderful time at their school (even though they did serve hot dogs for supper that night)!!! Anyway, this was a picture with a fourth grade class! All the students from Henry County loved the "Tails from the Bluegrass" articles. They still had questions they wanted me to clear up, such as "Are there really 99 steps to the Pikeville College?"

I better go. It is almost dinner time here at the house. I promised Mommy I would help her with the dessert!

Arff, Arff in 2006

I can't believe it is 2006! I know I Chloe and I bark all the time and say "Where has the time gone?" With a new book coming out, a new serial story coming in the newspaper, and being in great schools every day, it has been hard to find the time to blog! Anyway, here I am trying to say hello!

Our 2006 has been off to a wonderful start! We have been at Painted Stone in Shelbyville, Science Hill in Pulaski County, and Eastern Elementary in Henry County. The first picture is of some eighth graders at Science Hill. They stopped their studies to get a closer look at Chloe and me. The second picture is of me and the Cat in the Hat. While at Science Hill, I had a few extra minutes to sniff around the library. I saw CAT and wanted to introduce myself. This only lasted for a second before Mommy put CAT where he came from!

Today is the holiday of Martin Luther King Jr. Chloe and I are not in school today since the schools are out. We are taking the time to rest, read some of our favorite books, and play with some of our new Christmas toys. We hope you are having a great day as well!

I promise I will get back to regular blogging!
